Why does everybody think short people wouldn't like to raise up the seat? I am 160 cm hobbit (or 5'3"? for those who prefer measuring things with ancient corpses) and I always raise the seat as high as it goes. Why? Because I like seeing the road and not only the sky. I test drove the 308 SW and I find no issues with the steering wheel. I like it a lot, it's very handy to roll around. My only minuses for the car was the slow responsive automatic gear box (luckily on sports mode it could be shifted with flappy paddles) and the road noise, but it was not terrible, but maybe bit higher than average

All ev companies should get onboard with nio. Then, they can use the battery swapping

Bought this car brand new nearly 3 years ago. It is absolutely fantastic , smooth and very powerful and the best thing is i hardly ever fill it up!

Horrible car, worst car I’ve owned.

Get a 2 year old one that depreciated 50% and then you have a real bargain. It is ideal a a 2nd car/short trips car, and if you have solar at home it soaks up some of what you would export, so effectively costs 8p a KwH, or less than 2p a mile to drive. Apart from an early test to see if the DC charge port worked, i haven't paid for a charge.If you do a 120 mile round trip, you can charge up over the next 2 or 3 days at 3 hours a session, to soak up the solar excess.

Yeah the sound of the engine coming through the SPEAKERS!!!! is riveting. Nice motor though. The future is bright. But alas it’s not electric. ‘Disposable’ cars are not a good image or buy.

As a 2016 Model S 70D owner i would have to agree. Granted, it all depends on your preferences. I went with my 2016 Model S 70D because I’m a demon for speed. Although the acceleration is faster in the newer model 3’s the speed is nowhere close to the older S models. But again as i said it comes down to preferences. I don’t commute far plus i need more space for me and my gf to go on hikes and scooter riding. If you want luxury with speed, comfortability, and performance and don’t want to break the bank go with the model S. If you like technology, the fact u gets more mileage, care about the warranty, or want all the new bells and whistles then I’d recommend a model 3.

I average 50mpg which is pretty much incredible for a car of this size which packs a 2.5l petrol engine. What’s she on about?! Sport mode there’s a clear difference, terrible review.

In plug-in hybrids, if one drives in EV mode, does the gas engine mechanically work without combustion (like pistons moving, etc)? Or is the gas engine completely at a standstill?

Doesn't make much sense. Why not just make the engine recharge the battery continuously, like a full hybrid🤔. Just hauling around extra accessories, for what ?

Know what else ? Theft of Service Leaders in an educated opinion. I was a field service tech for Cummins Allison 852 Feehanville Drive Mount Prospect, IL 60056... They make money counting equipment however ,this is what ya deal with, half assed refurbished parts and to top it of they told me not to do the preventative maintenance anymore at customer sites just run the vacuum a little bit and wipe down the machines (make it look good). I was like "But that is gonna make the service call numbers go up and is >theft of service< WHY ? Well they wanted to keep selling new equipment every 3 years or so as the stuff would have lots of problems see ? With At Will, I was fired...SAD HUH ? Country is in TROUBLE...INVESTIGATION is needed asap folks. I thank you. BTW

It's a bloody hybrid you daft cow. The motorway driving is always going to be lower than town. Who hired this woman? Daddy is the producer? It's not got a turbo, mpg is easy to get high 40s, low 50s around town. Clueless.

The sad part is, there’s not many fast chargers in your state. Not only that most charge stations cost $.20-$.50 per watt

I have a Toyota Prius 2020 hybrid and it's a very impressive car, the energy Monitor in the mid display looks amazing but not sure if the wheels animate, you can also change the middle mid to display different information, I'm also liking the big satnav screen just above the joystick, the car normally lasts me 2 weeks on half a tank of petrol, I can't seem to find a charging section on the display for the electric motors, also, the car has no Android auto which is disappointing but all in all a great car all round
